Product Safety Information:
- Use only with 120 VAC, 60 Hz electrical outlet.
- Use only with SNAP CIRCUITS products.
- Remove any battery holders from base grid before using AC-SNAP (AC-SNAP should never be used with batteries or other power supplies)
- Always assemble Snap Circuits projects with the AC adapter plug disconnected from the B6 power supply. After each project is assembled, simply replace the plug (from the wall mount AC adapter) back into the B6 power supply on the base grid.
- Use the B6 power supply only with the wall mount AC adapter supplied.
- Check the AC adapter periodically for any external damage with the cables, adapter housing and any visible metal. If any fault is found, do not use the adapter until it is professionally repaired or replaced.
- For indoor use only.
- For SNAP CIRCUITS projects that use the motor, NEVER touch the motor or fan when it is spinning.
- When using AC-SNAP as the power source with projects that run the motor and fan, the circuit may shut down after 1-3 minutes of continuous use due to thermal protection within the B6 power supply. Unplug the 9V DC plug from the B6 power supply for a few minute and then plug it in again.

Works with all SNAP CIRCUITS products except SNAP ROVER. AC-SNAP is two pieces - an AC Adapter that plugs into an outlet, and a B6 power supply that plugs into a SNAP CIRCUITS grid. This AC-based power supply can replace all battery-based power supplies used in all versions of SNAP CIRCUITS, with the exception of SNAP ROVER products. SNAP ROVERS use batteries so mobility is not limited by a power cord!
Replaces 3 types of battery-based power supplies. SNAP CIRCUITS products use 3 kinds of battery holders (B1, B3, B5) to provide the power needed by circuit projects being built on a grid. AC-SNAP provides an AC-based power supply (B6) which can be used in place of one or two B1 battery holders (3V each), or one B3 battery holder (4.5V). AC-SNAP can also be used in place of one B5 battery holder (9V battery, 5V output) using additional snap wires or jumper wires. There are just 6 projects (103, 262, 276, 318, 622, and 689) that require two independent voltage sources, and batteries must be used as the power supply for these specific projects instead of the AC-SNAP Adapter. |
