Completely visual instructions allows younger kids to independently build these models. This toy is a great opportunity for kids to figure out how to build these fun animals on their own. Yes, you will likely need to help them with their first project or two, but once they understand how to follow the visual picture instructions, they can start to build more and more independently.
The foam and connectors are very tactile. The foam has a very pleasurable, soft-but-firm feel for tactile kids.
