Girder and Panel sets introduce engineering concepts through the fun of play. The building guide manuals in each set are really excellent. The building guide includes detailed instructions and diagrams to show how the parts work, and how you use them to build structures of each particular building set. The manual also has some very nice extras. There is a "Did You Know?" section with facts about buildings and civil engineering.
Parts are scaled to the common HO scale (1/87). This means that the many, many HO accessories available, such as cars, trucks, trees, and trains, can be added to your bridges & model city. If you roads or rails up to the bridge, and you have HO cars and/or trains, wouldn't that be a fun place to play?
