About the Inheritance Cycle Series:
The Inheritance Cycle is a fantasy series of books set in the fictional world of Alagaesia. The story focuses on a teenaged boy named Eragon and his dragon Saphira as he becomes one of the few remaining Dragon Riders. Dragon Riders were a legendary group who governed the land in times past but were almost completely destroyed by King Galbatorix, who betayed his fellow Riders and claimed the crown.
As Galbatorix attempts to capture Eragon and his dragon, Eragon begins a journey into the secrets and lores of Alagaesia.

About the Author:
Christopher Paolini’s abiding love of fantasy and science fiction inspired him to begin writing his debut novel, Eragon, when he graduated from high school at fifteen after being homeschooled all his life. Both Eragon and Eldest, the second book in the Inheritance cycle, became instant New York Times bestsellers. Christopher is currently at work on Brisingr, the third volume in the cycle.
