  • 50 puzzle pieces for a 2' x 2' (finished size) puzzle
  • Game Spinner
  • 24 Game Pieces
     
    Game Directions:
    1. Assemble! Place all the puzzle pieces with the colored image side face up. Have your child assemble the puzzle. Parental involvement may be needed depending upon the age of the child.
       
    2. Talk about it! Once assembled, the puzzle becomes a "talk about" puzzle, as there are many images in the scene to promote parent-child conversation.
       
    3. Play the game! Attach the spinner to the center of the puzzle in the die cut areas provided. Place the game cards face up on the table. Each player selects a colored path on the puzzle to lead them to the park which is located in the center of the puzzle. Play begins with the youngest player.
       
      • When the spinner stops, select a game card that has the same color (if playing the color game) or shape (if playing the shape game) or color and shape (if playing both colors and shapes game) where the spinner is pointing.
         
      • If correct, place the game card on the first open space on the path. If incorrect, or there are no cards left that have the same color, shape, or color and shape as where the spinner has stopped, play moves to the next player.
         
      • If the spinner lands on "Spin Again", the player spins again.
         
      • Play moves to the person on the left.
         
      • The first player to collect six cards to complete their journey to the park wins the game!
