FLUXX starts out simple with only one rule: pick a card, play a card. But new rules appear as you play, and chaos and fun follow!
The new rules can be "pick a card, play two cards" or "pick four cards, play one". The goal to win is constantly changing, too! So the card you discarded last turn may suddenly be the gold mine you now need to win.
This game is very addictive and fun. Though it sounds complicated, it's really quite simple. A great game to develop divergent thinking skills.

An addictively fun game. I took this game and several others on vacation when my son was 8 years old. All the games were new to us. Unfortunately, it rained every day. :-( On our first rainy day, I happened to pull this game out and my son absolutely loved it! For the rest of the week, I kept trying to pull out other games but all he wanted to play was FLUXX. It is a very fun game, and since the rules change so often each game, every game played is quite different from anything previous.
An unusual game. Sometimes many games can have similarities, and it is refreshing to find a game that is very different from others. This is such a game. I have not found anything similar.
Very portable game. Fun card games are so great to toss into a purse or backpack or car for travel fun or restaurants or times you are waiting and need something quick and fun to do.
Expandable for continued fun. There are additional add-on cards that you can add to your basic FLUXX deck to make game play more interesting. You can make up your own cards and add them in from FLUXX BLANXX. You can add a few (or more) language cards to practice as you learn a new language, such as FLUXX ESPANOL, FLUXX GERMAN, or FLUXX JAPANESE. You can add easier, more family oriented cards, like FAMILY FLUXX. You can add cards from your religion, such as CHRISTIAN FLUXX or JEWISH FLUXX. Personalize and expand for on-going fun! |
