| "FOLD & GO BARN" Product Description:
Hours of Imaginative Play for Your Animal-Loving Tot!
Young MacDonalds will enjoy "down on the farm" fun with this fully assembled wooden barn.
Little farmers will find that there's lots of work to do. Keep the barn tidy and clean, and make sure all the animals are happy and well-fed!
This two-story barn is stocked with seven farm animals, a wooden ladder and a folding corral. Chunky handles allow your independent farmer to take their animal fun wherever they go!
Product Notes - Activities:
Ask your child to name each farm animal and make the appropriate animal sound.
Ask your child to count the number of barn sections, animals, windows, etc.
Ask your child to manipulate the corral panels into different shapes and count the number of sides, such as a triangle (3), a square (4), and a pentagon (5).
Place the animals in the corral, ask your child to study them, and then to close his/her eyes. Hide one animal in the barn. Ask your child to open his/her eyes and identify the missing animal.
Hide all of the animals from your child's sight, then secretly place one animal behind the sliding doors. Give hints to help your child identify the animal in the barn.

A NOTE FROM LAURI:
A barn with animals provides creative, imaginative play for boys and girls. This barn provides dollhouse-like play, appropriate for both boys and girls! Kids can play with the animals, barn, and corral for hours of creative play. Kids can think of the animals as animals or as people-like (just like in books such as "Charlotte's Web"!) and can re-create situations they have encountered and think about different ways the situations can be handled through relaxed, safe play. The barn provides particularly fun play for kids that love animals.
Ideal quiet play before bedtime. This barn is small and easily placed on a bed or the floor by a bed for quiet play before bedtime. Parents can participate in silly role-play reversal by pretending that one animal is a child and another is an adult - and the parent takes on the role of the child. Make it relaxed and silly and fun. Great parent-child interaction that can be added to bedtime rituals! |
