Great for making tessellations. A tessellation is created when the same shape is repeated over and over and covers an entire area, or plane. Learning about tessellations has math and geometry implications, which are explained more under the "Learn More" tab. FRACTILES 7 provides a great tactile way for kids to learn and experience tessellations.
Mixes creative art, geometry, and spatial skills in a tactile manner. With bright and gifted kids, it is important to seek activities that are more complex and combine different skills.
