Six types of beautiful puzzle pieces for creative play. When you spread your puzzle pieces out on a flat surface you will see the six types of puzzle pieces: caterpillars, butterflies, flowers, ladybugs, triple leaves, and single leaves. In addition there are two puzzle pieces (stars, pentagons) to help the pieces fit together to make tessellations.

 

Puzzle pieces can be used in many types of learning experiences. The instructions show how to build different types of tessellations, and to practice different ways for rotational symmetry.

 

This version is especially designed for small groups. There are a larger number of pieces included for up to 10-15 people: for classrooms, families, homeschool groups, preschools, kindergarten centers, senior adult centers, and so on.
