Engage elementary aged kids with this fast, fun, challenging game that encourages kids to "think outside the plus"!
Kids create equations from the numbers rolled on the scoring dice to try to match a target number. Match it first and win!
Beginners can focus on simpler equations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Greater challenge can be added by encouraging the use of roots and powers.
Make it a speed game, a best answer game, or have kids work cooperatively to find the best solution. Not only will kids hone math skills, but critical thinking and inventiveness will flourish as new ways to manipulate the numbers become clear.
Game instructions include practice tables with examples for addition, subtraction, mulitplication, division, powers, roots and more.
Adults will be challenged to keep up!
How To Play MATH DICE:
Roll the two 12-sided Target Dice. Multiply those two numbers to get your "Target Number."
Roll the three 6-sided Scoring Dice.
Use those three numbers to add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc. to come up with an answer as close as possible to the Target Number.
Whoever gets the closest number wins.
