| "META FORMS" Logic Game Description:
Discover the award-winning puzzle game that has amassed a following of parents, teachers, and children around the world!
The object of the game is to succeed in placing 9 wooden shapes onto a 3 x 3 grid using a given set of clues.
The game begins with simple puzzles that allow bright kids as young as 4-5 years old to start playing and to understand the underlying logic principles.
As the game progresses, new logic concepts are introduced requiring the players to use more sophisticated reasoning skills.
The gradual progression of the puzzles allows each player to advance at their own pace.
It is astonishing how natural it is for young minds to grasp the fundamental rules of logic and develop advanced reasoning skills in problem solving.
It should be noted that, in the advanced levels of the game, the puzzles represent a challenge for most adults who, like younger players, will enjoy the satisfaction of solving them.

A NOTE FROM LAURI:
Original ground-breaking logic puzzle game. As far as I know, this was the first logic puzzle game invented for kids. Invented in Europe, with strong distribution in Canada and the USA, it has a tremendous world wide popularity established. This popularity is due to a very solid logic game with great puzzles!
Presented in a very visual way, great for visual learners! Every puzzle is presented in a visual manner. There is no language. This means that everyone, even those who have difficulty with language, has an even playing field to use this puzzle.
Great tactile presentation of logic! So many of our opportunities to practice logic are via worksheets, pencils and paper. Although I love those type of puzzles, it is great to have a tactile, visual game as a different way to develop logic and reasoning skills!
This game is one of my personal favorites. First I must admit I love logic, math, and problem solving puzzles and games. Having admitted that preference, this is still one of my personal favorites. It's fun, it's challenging, and it's unique! I put the grid, the book, and the puzzle pieces in a ziploc-type plastic bag and leave it by my bedside, or in the car for family car trips, restaurants, and put it in my carry-on when I travel. I have found it's a great way for me to have my brain turn off other matters before bedtime, focus on a puzzle, and go to sleep! |
