A NOTE FROM LAURI:
Two- to four-person brainteaser games. Many brainteasers and puzzles are single person games, and sometimes it is great to step it up and have a little competition and be more social. There are 4 games included within MiQUBE.
Different rules, same themes. All four games use 12 of the 13 game pieces, which are divided amongst the players. The game pieces are all based on sets of cubes that are put together into irregular shapes. Depending on the way that you look at the cubes, they are different colors. Each person is assigned a color, and places their game pieces on the board with their color facing upward. All the games have slightly different, but similar, objectives. You are generally trying to cover as much of the 6x6 board with your color. Each person takes a turn to place their pieces. When all the pieces that can be placed are placed, the game is over.
Strategic thinking is needed. Kids learn to pick pieces well, and learn what order they place their pieces onto the game board. Good placement is dependent upon what is already played on the board.
Quick and challenging! All the games are quick, and are very challenging!
Great 3D element. I really like how the game encourages 3D thinking. Great to have a game that plays up rather than flat!
The puzzle included is very challenging. In addition to the 4 games, all 13 of the puzzle pieces fit together to form a 4x4 square. It is a very challenging puzzle!
