Kids solve 21 single digit addition problems on each page, and are asked to find the answer to a problem that can only be found by correctly plotting a course around the puzzle treasure map. Each addition problem tells them the direction to go, and their answer tells them how many spaces to move. After all the problems are solved and all the plots are made, kids have the answer to the puzzle.
