Workbook Levels:
Level A: Grades PreK-2. Level A uses fun activities to sort words and pictures into sets and subsets, designed for students ages 4-7. Kids practice by organizing living/non-living, plants/animals, hot/cold, big/little, soft/hard, and more! Students build reading vocabulary and logic skills; the first half of the book has pictures with words; the second half has just words. For readers and non-readers. Great resource for ESL (English as a Second Language) kids, too!
Level B: Grades 3-5. Level B will delight kids in Grades 3-5 by using math puzzles based on nursery rhymes! Stretch their thinking while they find out how many children the old woman in the shoe had, or how many animals Little Boy Blue tended. 36 puzzles use Venn diagrams to organize information. 12 puzzles challenge students to think through similarities and differences, then use Venn diagrams to sort concepts visually into groups. Level C: Grades 6-8. Level C has three kinds of puzzles designed for students ages 11 to 14. Fun alien-themed puzzles will help students improve their mathematical problem solving by using Venn diagrams to organize information. More puzzles will challenge students to analyze similarities and differences, and determine classification categories. AND, introductory logic puzzles will encourage valid, accurate reasoning. Level D: Grades 9+. Level D includes challenging Venn puzzles that use overlapping shapes to help students visualize relationships and organize information. A puzzle is included for each of the 50 states, an intriguing way to integrate mathematics and interesting geographic facts. This workbook provides a fun opportunity to strengthen a student's abiilty to read for detail, analyze infroamtion, see relationships, and apply algebraic problem solving!
