LOOSE CHANGE is a really fun math game to learn coins with a little strategic thinking thrown in. Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade kids try to play cards that add up to one dollar, without going over.  

This game combines learning to add coins, with learning basic strategy skills. While kids learn to add the coins, they learn NOT to lay down cards that will be close to a dollar, since this makes it easy for the next player to add the cards to one dollar and win the point, and how to avoid a "bust" of having to lay a card that will go over a dollar.
