Shape by Shape is a great challenge for our whole family. The game provides two levels of thinking. The orange pieces are basic shapes and are easily understandable and arrangeable. The yellow pieces are unusual shapes and usually fit into the design in asymmetrical patterns. Once we've completed the orange design, we are kept engaged arranging and rearranging the yellow pieces to complete the design.
This is a game my whole family comes back to over and over again. The really fun thing about this game is the more you play the easier to becomes to see the patterns. The patterns begin to visually jump out at you. It's very satisfying to see the kids start puzzle after puzzle and to see their enjoyment at their successes.
