More About TIC-TAC-KU:
Each player controls where the other player must play. Depending on the position of the marble played by a player, the next player must play in the corresponding playing zone. For example, if Player 1 places their marble in the upper left position of any of the nine playing zones, Player 2 must play in the upper left playing zone. Player 2 can place their marble anywhere within that upper left playing zone. Where Player 2 places their marble then dictates which playing zone must be played by Player 1. If Player 2 places their marble in the middle position, Player 2 must play their next turn in the middle playing zone.
Easy to learn by young and old, players can play on their own or in teams!
TIC-TAC-KU is the durable wooden game that is full of strategy that really makes you use your marbles!

A NOTE FROM LAURI:
Unique twist to a game everyone knows. Tic Tac Toe is a game everyone learns at an early age, and gives up playing after realizing games usually end up as a tie. The unique rules of this TIC TAC KU takes the simple concept of Tic Tac Toe and gives it a unique twist that result in play that is challenging and fun. Because everyone knows how to play tic tac toe, it is a game that is quickly learned, and many ages can play together.
Encourages thinking in multiple levels. There are two levels of tic tac toe being played simultaneously. You are playing 9 individual tic tac toe games within the game board in order to win the higher level tic tac toe game on the whole game board. In order to be successful, players need to think at multiple levels. First, they need to think about the immediate game they are playing. Second, they need to think about how each play may affect other games on the board. Finally, they need to think about how to make progress in the overall goal of winning a majority of the games so they will win the entire game board game.
Many ages can play together. I play this game with younger kids and teens, with equal fun. Although the game play is quite different with different ages, play experiences are equally enjoyable! I play quite often with my teenage daughter and invariably we go to the very last marble to see who is going to win!
Appealing play for bright kids. Feedback from kids is always very positive! The colorful marbles and wood board have tactile and visual appeal. Thinking at multiple levels is challenging. Quick play of a seemingly simple game is fun. When kids have many games to pick from, this is often a game that is chosen.
