A NOTE FROM LAURI:
A party game that works for 4 or more. This is one of our family's favorite games, and we usually play with 4 players. Although this is very fun for large groups, it is a great playing game for 4 people, too!
Very easy rules to learn for all ages. Very briefly, a game has 7 questions. All answers are numbers. Each individual/team answers the question by writing it down. You place the answers on the betting mat and bet on who you think answered correctly without going over (the answer that wins has to be a number equal or lower to the real answer). You win the game by betting correctly, not be answering correctly! If you want more information about the game rules, they are listed under the "Learn More" tab above.
Questions are varied and fun for all ages. The questions can be about history (What year was the last battle in the Revolutionary War?), about animals (What is the weight of the largest ostrich ever recorded?), about sports (How many points did Michael Jordan average per game in his career?), about art, science, geography, TV, and so on. Younger players can answer, can guess or be helped by older team members.
Both boys and girls like this game. In our family we rotate who picks the game we will play together. This game is picked by both boys and girls because it has betting (tends to be a favorite of the boys) and yet the girls often win, so they like it, too!
There's a reason the game has won many awards. Of all the games in the store, this game is one of the most highly-awarded games. WITS and WAGERS has long time appeal, and is one that is fun to play over and over again! |
