A NOTE FROM LAURI:
Really fun for young kids. ALL kids know that cats and mice are normally enemies, as are dogs and cats. They also know what those animals eat! So, all those logic rules make perfect sense. Since the rules make sense, they can focus on figuring out how these puzzles work, and they invariably find out that they are very fun! The animal theme can add a sense of silliness, too! All of which makes it fun!
Great introduction for young kids to logic. The puzzles start off at a very, very easy level. Kids DO understand how these puzzles work It's a great introduction to logic!
Lack of reading skills doesn't affect ability to try out logic puzzles! Since many logic puzzles are word puzzles, the lack of reading skills can impede some younger kids from developing their logic and reasoning skills. BUT...oh, happy day! With ZOOLOGIC, young kids do not have to master reading! These visual puzzles allow them to try out and progress with development of their logic skills! YEAH!
(I know several young kids that are math whizzes but also have dyslexia. They have struggled to progress in math, their strength, because math curriculums are so language-oriented. This is a great product for kids just like that!) |
